First confirmed names for ThingsCon Amsterdam 2017

The 2017 ThingsCon conference is scheduled to take place on November 30th and December 1st at the wonderful Volkshotel in Amsterdam. On November 30th we offer a full day of workshops, the opening keynote, and a special side program opens up to the public in the evening. On December 1st we offer a full conference day with both interesting talks and workshops for IoT designers, researchers, developers and entrepreneurs.

The confirmed speakers include Alexandra Deschamp-Sonsino, Martijn de Waal, Nazli Cila, Dries De Roeck, Jet Gispen, Kars Alfrink, Peter Kún, Ugo Vallauri and Iohanna Nicenboim. We will announce more speakers soon!

What topics will be discussed? The conference will highlight the best in responsible IoT design, using the different steps in the design and production process as our anchor. We will also make deep dives into topics as “Things as Citizens”, the battle of IoT cards, GDPR and beyond for IoT products, ethics toolkits, design for AI, IoT, sports and more. Of course we will also include our famous Connectiklaas workshop, for last minute IoT Sinterklaarsurprises.

As always, ThingsCon will be a wonderful conference with a lot of interaction, learning, and thinking. You can watch the ThingsCon Amsterdam 2016 after movie here.
